Here's what life used to look like every time I tried to lose fat.

I call this the “Dieting Cycle Of Doom”:
 Step 1 - I'd see an old picture of myself, realize I've put on a few extra pounds and decide to go on a diet.

  Step 4 - A few days I'm feeling a little difference. Clothes feel a little looser. And I'm MAYBE down a few pounds..

Sure, I'm a little tired... and a Friday night Chicken Alfredo sounds amazing right now... But you tell yourself that's just "part of the sacrifice you have to make to get in shape".
  Step 5 - Keeping it up. But as the days pass by and exhaustion begins to set in the cravings for something delicious start rising.

I'm a few more pounds down... but I'm missing all "bad foods" -- BAD.
  Step 6 - Attempt to ignore and resist the mounting cravings. But every time I walk past a coffee shop or down a grocery store aisle, the foods I know and love I SWEAR are calling to me. 

I bury it - tell myself to get a grip.

 ​​Step 14: Surrounded by empty packets...the sugar-high wears off and reality sets in.

Here I am...again. Diet broken. 2 WEEKS of the hard work undone.

But my journey wasn't easy.  I had three daughters and gained around 60 to 70 pounds with each of them.
